The Global Technical Committee has reviewed and preliminary approved the NYMEX Energy Products proposal. The document now enters a 15 day public comment period in which public review and feedback is encouraged. Once the Public Comment period closes, the Global Technical Governance Board will meet to review public comments before final approval.

The public comment period ends on January 6, 2009.

Suggestion to improve wording of new enumeration value for tag 1093 LotType. Are increments in unit of measure terms a special form of round lots? New LotType could thus be “TBD - Round Lot based on Unit of Measure (UOM)”
