The Global Technical Committee has reviewed and preliminarily approved the Equities Post-Trade Enhancements proposal. This FIX Protocol Gap Analysis, submitted by Eurex Group, was generated in response to regulatory reporting of position for EMIR. It adds the possibility to uniquely identify a position entity with a single identifier that represents a shortcut to the collection of attributes that are currently needed to describe a position entry.
The document now enters a public comment period in which public review and feedback is encouraged. Once the public comment period closes, the Global Technical Governance Board will meet to review public comments before final approval.
