The Global Technical Committee has reviewed and preliminarily approved the post-trade recommended practices for equity swaps. This FIX recommended practice describes the two primary workflow types for equity swaps between the buy-side and the broker-dealer and swap providers, including placement and post-trade processing: - Hedge-leg style workflow - Swap-style workflow Please click here to view a Power Point presentation which provides an overview of the post-trade recommended practices for this release cycle. These documents now enter a 90-day public comment period in which public review and feedback is encouraged. Once the public comment period closes, the Global Technical Governance Board will meet to review public comments before final approval.
