The FIX Trading Community Execution Venue Reporting Recommended Practices Guidelines were originally published to address consistency on how brokers reported information regarding tags 29, 30 and 851 to the buyside. The latest update to the guidelines address changes to Tag29 guidelines to reflect MiFID requirements and the impact that MiFID was having on whether executions were principal or agency (FIX tag 29). Additional updates were made to valid values for Tag 851.
This document now enters a public comment period in which public review and feedback is encouraged.
