Job Description
Seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The successful candidate will be a fast learner that can work with engineering, support, and product management to maintain enterprise-grade QA standards.
Primary Responsibilities
-Proactively review and improve QA methodologies
-Execute, maintain, and extend automated and manual test suites including unit, module, integration, regression, acceptance, load, performance, and end-to-end tests.
-Create new test suites as functionality is added
-Work with support and engineering to evaluate, reproduce, and isolate defects
Required Qualifications
-3 years of experience in software development or enterprise product testing
-Over 1 year of programming experience in Java and the JUnit framework
-Experience with Perl and shell scripting
-Experience with XML
-Comfortable with Linux
-BS/MS degree in computer science or equivalent
-Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Preferred Qualifications/Characteristics
-Experience with the financial services industry
-Understanding of financial protocols (e.g. FIX, CMS, etc.)

This is a full-time position - consultants or contractors will not be considered.
