Quality Assurance Team Leader, Exchange Connectivity Group-LONDON
Our Clients Exchange Connectivity Group is responsible for the delivery and ongoing maintenance of Front Office Cash Equity technology projects to meet the trading requirements of the business.
You will have experience of working for an investment bank/broker or vendor ideally with expertise in Equities. You must be familiar with FIX testing, Exchange Connectivity for in-bound and out-bound messages. Must have at least 3 to 5 years experience working in the Financial Services industry with TCP/IP basics and a strong Unix/ Linux background. You should have some experience with FIX and client connectivity, order flow routing and electronic trading.
Key Areas
1)You will be liasing daily with development and
infrastructure groups, testing business critical
trading applications to a high standard.
2)You will be developing test plans, test scripts
and carrying out system, regression, stress,
implementation, Load, and UAT testing in
accordance with the defined project time lines.
3)Responsible for ensuring that the software
product delivered meets all business and
technical requirements.
5)Responsible for the automation of manual QA
processes where possible.
Duties
1)Good basic understanding of equity stock
markets and trading.
2)Excellent written and spoken English.
3)Experience of systematic manual and
automated testing.
4)Ability to converse competently with software
developers, infrastructure teams and traders.
5)Team Leadership experience.
6)Strong Unix/ Linux background - including
understanding of file systems, symbolic links &
process management.
7)Experience within a structured software
development environment.
8)Good general PC skills and knowledge of Excel,
Access, Word, MS Project, etc.
9)Happy to travel around Europe and the USA on an
occasional basis.
