Hi All,

I am looking for some help using the Quote & Quote request Application Messages. The DTD’s don’t seem to convey the complete information.

Does anyone have some samples for the same.

Hello,
The QuoteReq tag has to be incorrect as far as I can tell.
The quote request application message should contain repeating groups for related symbols.
Each of the repeating groups should contain
an entry for instrument, quoteType, price, orderQty etc. The quoteReq in the 4.3 DTD can contain multiple instruments but only one quoteType, price, qty etc.
Something similar to the QuoteReqReject would be correct I think. It has a QuoteReqRejList with QuoteReqRejGroups.

Is this something that will fixed (4.4) or is it supposed to be this way?

You are correct - the DTD does not match the tag=value version of the 4.3 spec. We will fix this when we update the DTD for 4.4. In addition I will post a change request to bring the Quote and new Quote Response back in line with the Quote Request so that they can form a one-to-one dialog.
