Reason to a rejected order

Hi,

Is there a facility provided by FIX standard, specifically for version 4.0, 4.2 and 4.3, that can uniquely identify a reason as to why an order is being rejected by Exchange?

Henry,

For this purpose Tag103(OrdRejReason)can be used but since this is not a required tag, most of the time the destinations/exchanges are not sending in this tag to identify the reason of the reject. Most of the time what I have come across is that either we have to rely on the text (if they send the proper reason in the text) or have to contact them up.
