"Received" Allocation Ack mandatory?

Hi

Is it required to always acknowledge an Allocation message with a "received" Allocation Ack, and then send an "accepted" or "rejected" Allocation Ack?

Or, can we send an "accepted" or "rejected" Allocation Ack directly, without first sending a "received" Allocation Ack?

Provided that the system which recieves and processes the Allocations can "immediately" process and accept the allocations at a business level, I see no reason that AllocStatus="Received Not Yet Processed" must be sent before the AllocStatus="Accepted" (or Rejected). The primary purpose for the "received not yet processed" is to accomodate batch-oriented processing. Though, it should not hurt to go ahead and send the "Received" as soon as the message is received and then the "Accept" immediately following.
