Susquehanna International Group, LLP (SIG) a leading institutional sales and market making firm, offering renowned execution expertise in listed, NASDAQ, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), options and American Depositary Receipts (ADRs)is actively seeking a Regional Technology Lead to join its Chicago office. <br><br>
The Regional Technology Lead is responsible for managing all office and trading floor based technology including end-user support, troubleshooting software, hardware and market data problems and supporting the wireless hand-held PC electronic trading environment. The RTL will manage the daily activities of the Trading Floor Support staff, Office Support staff, Data Center Support staff and the Application Support staff. The RTL is responsible for technology project management including coordination, distribution and implementation of new software, projects and initiatives for the Chicago regional office and research and will be responsible for testing new technology as required and in tandem with Architecture Group at our headquarters in Bala. The RTL is involved in the Physical Plant activities with cross over responsibilities including Facilities, infrastructure, networking, and telecommunications. This will also entail ensuring the Data Center facility is maintained in concert with SIG technical and environmental standards. In addition the RTL will work directly with recruiting as first line in the hiring process, participate/coordinate training of new employees on SIG applications and be responsible for employee performance appraisals for all supervised staff. <br><br>
Qualifications: Seven to ten years or more experience in the field of information technology with a minimum of three or more years in managerial role; Financial/Brokerage Experience strongly preferred; Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related major strongly preferred; nowledge of Unix, NT server, or Windows 2000/2003 server a strong plus; FIX protocol experience preferred.
