The FIX specification states that: "The resend request is sent by the receiving application to initiate the retransmission of messages, and can be used to request a single message, a range of messages or all messages".
My question is: At any time or any circumstance does FIX allow for the receiving application(Server) to send back to the requester (Client) more then has been requested in the Resend Request message (Not a EndSeqNo=0). This could be applied when a session has been re-established, or maybe during a intraday session.
