We have formed a Working Group to look at FIX usage between Retail Broker Dealers and Institutions / Exchanges
The Purpose is:
To consider, document, and where needed recommend extensions, to the FIX Technical Committee to support business between retail intermediaries firms and Institutions / Exchanges. Specific deliverables are a white paper documenting the required messaging and a set of candidate fields / messages (probably extensions to existing messages) needed to allow its delivery in FIX.
Kevin Houstoun will be the leader of this working group. Interested parties can email him directly. There will be a kickoff meeting shortly.
