Can anybody explain what is the use case of RootParties and how is it different from Parties other than block level? I would like to understand this better as we are using RootParties to capture exactly the same info for Multi-Leg transactions.

Parties and RootParties are conceptually identical. TagValue encoding does not allow a field name to occur more than once in a message definition. They must be unique and the same applies for other parties components like NestedParties.
