Dear All,

I am looking for a FIX request able to provide the status of a security group/segment.

As far as I know :

  1. there is no defined tag for the security group except into the user tags list
  2. the Security Status provides the status per security and not per group/segment.

So what do you think is the best way to handle the group status ?

The fix protocol provides a ‘Trading Session Status Request’ You can use this message to request information on the status of a market
message (or a specifica security group)

The exchange will reply with an Trading Session Status message. In case of the Euronext exchanges, they will provide this information automatically (so without sending the request first).
