C++, SQL Server 2000, FIX Support, Windows, SQL Server 2000
Financial Services firm seeks a Buy-Side Developer to develop, test, configure and troubleshoot software as needed during Japanese trading hours. Will develop and/or debug new software using C++ and/or SQL for GDMA. Support GDMA Japan as needed during Japanese Market Hours (17:00 EST - 02:00 EST). Perform QA testing and support Japanese developers. Configure test environments using SQL Server 2000 and other tools. Troubleshoot FIX issues as they arise via inspection of logs. Provide Developer Support to GDMA Production in Japan.
· Must be fluent in spoken and written Japanese
· Other Asian languages would be a plus
· Must be capable of troubleshooting using logs
· Must understand how financial orders are processed using FIX
· C++ (4 years)
· SQL Server 2000 (5 years)
· Fix Support (1 year) or any other message based protocol
· Must be comfortable in support Production with a cautious approach
· Financial Industry experience (5 years)
· Windows, SQL Server 2000
