The Pacific Exchange (San Francisco, CA) is seeking a senior analyst with FIX experience to develop/ support the PCX FIX interface on our new options trading platform, PCX Plus. In addition, this individual will be responsible for supporting the existing CMS interface.
The PCX Connect team is responsible for all activities associated with the integration of the PCX Connect interfaces and Pacific Exchange trading permit holders. Incumbents will be responsible for developing and maintaining FIX certification services including certification scripts, test environments, specification documentation, and release management. In addition, the individual will be responsible for responding to customer problems and requests in an efficient and effective manner.
·Position requires a Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Directly related experience may substitute for a degree.
·Extensive knowledge of Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol 4.3. Minimum 3 years of experience working with FIX. Experience with Appia FIX engines desired.
·Familiarity with TransactTools ttCert is desired
·Working knowledge of the Common Message Switch (CMS) format
·Previous experience in options trading industry
·Strong verbal and written communication skills
·Project management/ customer relationship work. Demonstration of project lead experience.
Must be willing to relocate without assistance
