Major global investment bank requires a senior Technical Architect with a deep and broad skill set and at least 15 years experience within IT. You will be responsible for a large number of projects globally - Front to Back office from both a business and technical perspective; all business areas inc. Corporate Finance Systems, Payment Systems, Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Commodities etc. You will be entrusted with their smooth running from the outset, and will have the authority to cancel £5m - 6m projects. You will be dealing with budgets, validating technical solutions and overseeing proposals made by 3rd parties. Ideal role perhaps for those in project management and not enjoying it!!! Strong understanding of C++, Java, J2EE, Microsoft technologies, Middleware/messaging inc. FIX Engines, MQ Series, JDM, Java messaging, full life cycle experience, the ability to win the respect of the Business, attention to detail and a thorough, methodical approach all essential.
