JOB DESCRIPTION
- Play a lead role in the ¿Trades Completion¿ project.
- Responsibility for the development of technical solutions in the trade completion space to support efficiency, capacity improvements and business re-engineering for the business unit
- This encompasses the whole development lifecycle from requirements analysis through to implementation, employing the most appropriate technologies such as JXB, Java, Linux / Unix, XML, SOAP and Sybase
- Also expecting to manage the project as well as the team in Tokyo
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous banking industry is not essential for skilled technical candidates.
Japanese is not essential. (Relocation is available for qualified candidates)
- structured experience in software development, preferably in front- or mid-office applications in the investments banking industry
- Strong hands-on development experience using Java or C++
- Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of Unix / Linux, XML, SOAP, MQ, SQL
- Team Leadership, experienced Senior Developer, strong mentoring skills
