Seeking a senior software project manager with 8 – 10 years of business experience to support the core transaction, position keeping, P&L reporting, etc. The candidate should have a demonstrated track record of designing and delivering complex financial systems, with in depth knowledge of a wide range of Financial Products; especially( FX, Bonds, and or MBS)
The candidate should have experience across several middle and back office/operations business areas such as Structured Products, Clearing/Settlement Processing, Broker Reconciliation Processing, Financing/Carry Systems etc. They should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present to high level internal clients.
The candidate should have come through the ranks with 4-7 yrs of hands on development experience in a C++/Unix environment before moving on to Project Management responsibilities.
BA in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is strongly preferred, and an MBA with project management experience would be ideal.

The role entails management responsibility for the requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation and roll out of various strategic global IT initiatives related to the Middle and Back Office/Operations Processing domain. This person must be a key driver of firmwide IT initiatives with the abilty to deliver high quality technology products throughout the organization. They will manage a small team of IT professionals, interact with and request deliverables from a wide range of IT groups to effect delivery of strategic initiative to key clients in Finance, Operations, and across various lines of business.
