DESCRIPTION/ REQUIREMENTS:
-For this Leading International Financial Company, This position is responsible for Level 1 and advanced technical support for vital and real-time financial applications. This position will work closely with the business unit users. The candidate must demonstrate technical expertise in all aspects of production applications to resolve complex problems that occur in daily. The Sr. Production Support Technician is a key member of the technical support team.

Additional responsibilities include support for FIX applications along with maintaining MQM configurations. Sr. level of skill with thorough knowledge of iSeries (AS400) information systems and operational processes. Ability in interpreting and write CL (Control Language) and to generate queries. Understanding of LAN/WAN Technologies. Strong knowledge of business environment, IT infrastructure, and network operations. Project planning and management skills, including ability to identify and asses risk to determine action plans. Strong oral and written communications capabilities. Understanding of wholesale banking industry and real time trading issues. Capable of maintaining systems to minimize downtime and impact on business productivity and profitability.
