Senior QA Analyst - FIX Protocol
Linedata Services, Inc. is a worldwide leader in financial services software, providing complete front-to-back software solutions to the buy-side market. We currently have an opening for a FIX Protocol Senior Quality Assurance Analyst in our Boston, MA office. We seek a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Derives testing requirements for a FIX gateway product used by a buy-side trade order management system.
• Works closely with Engineering and Product Management to ensure that all deliverables meet functional specifications.
• Tests and evaluates early releases to provide feedback to engineers developing the product.
• Writes and refines FIX protocol test plans.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years working with or testing financial software
• 3+ years hands-on experience with the FIX protocol
• Very strong written and verbal communications skills
• Some FIX protocol testing experience required
Pluses:
• Experience with .NET-based software products
• Exposure to ATR, TradeWeb, and Oasys
• Knowledge of SQL, VB, or C++
• Knowledge of automated testing practices and tools
