TransactTools is currently seeking world-class consultants for its professional services group. Qualified candidates must have deep technical experience with Java/Javascript and commonly adopted financial protocols (i.e., FIX). They should also have industry expertise in the securities business working with electronic trading solutions. Candidates must have strong customer relationship skills and customer-facing experience in delivering business solutions through technology. Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary.
Candidates should have some leadership experience in the implementation of financial technology applications at a team leader, project leader or technical project leader level.
Primary responsibilities
• Working with customers to understand and document technical and business requirements
• Installing and implementing TransactTools software according to customer specifications
• Integrating TransactTools software with customer applications, including Java development
• Working closely with other departments at TransactTools (i.e., Engineering, Customer Support) to ensure a tight implementation of the solution and a smooth transition to production.
Qualifications
• Programming experience in Java
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience in the financial services industry
• Ability to understand customer’s requirements and to implement technology solutions according to those requirements
• FIX protocol experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
