Susquehanna International Group, LLP (SIG) a leading institutional sales and market making firm, offering renowned execution expertise in listed, NASDAQ, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), options and American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) is actively seeking a Trading Floor Engineer to join its New York City location.
The Senior Trading Floor Engineer will be a “go to person” for technical, hardware, and software issues that arise on multiple trading floors. The Engineer will provide hands-on support, along with team members, in an effort to troubleshoot and resolve desktop problems, market data application issues, and telecom problems. Ongoing responsibilities will include monitoring trading floor activities, acting as a liaison between users/traders, other technology groups, and external vendors, as well as assisting in the implementation of technical projects.
Qualifications: A minimum of five years in a trading floor/data center environment, with progressive technical support experience; Thorough knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems; Microsoft Office Windows NT/2000/XP; Experience with Market Data service platforms such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and MicroHedge preferred; FIX experience a plus.
