•Developer within Fixed Income Derivatives Technology, working
specifically on a cross product risk aggregation tool programme.
•The first phase is deployment to credit derivatives trading.
•The ideal candidate will be working as a developer/ analyst for an
investment bank, leading consultancy or derivatives systems vendor.
•Developer for web based reporting, credit flow and exotics business
Risk and PnL reporting enhancements, source feeds development,
Integration of further source systems, development of intra day and
real time solutions…
•Applicants must have a Java programming background and an
understanding of component based client server architectures.
•Experience in HTML, JSP’s, JSF is essential.
•Applicants are also expected to have worked with Web design, SQL, XML
and XSLT.
•Experience in one or more of the following product areas: Credit
Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, FX Options, Commodities,
Structured Products.
•Experience of delivering change for front and middle office systems
for pricing, risk, deal capture, market data, analytics, P&L and STP.
Key Tasks:-
• Analysis of the business requirements, translation, where
required to functional, and technical requirements.
• Development of web based reporting and functional enhancements.
• Testing and documenting solutions for application suite.
• Manage relationship with front office user community, frequent
contact.
• Time management and financial forecasting of development.
• Ensuring communication and documentation of all discussions and
decisions.
• Design and architectural contribution for risk aggregation
future scope.
• Analysis and design on feed requirements.
• Member of project team and SME on technical and functional
capability.
• Handover responsibilities to support functions.
Experience
• 5-7 years experience in Investment Banking Technology, of which
50% should be as a developer for front/middle office
derivatives systems.
• Strong interest rate and credit derivatives knowledge as well
as wider global market product exposure.
Knowledge
• Ideally degree educated.
• Java programming proficient.
• Proven HTML, JSP’s, JSF experience.
• SQL, web design, XML and XSLT.
• Business analysis skills, technical and functional design
