within the firm. The position will be based in
the firm’s New York office, and the individual
will report to the Managing Director
responsible for the firm’s Technology.

Responsibilities
The Software Development and Technology
Manager will be primarily responsible for:

  • Helping to guide the firm’s software
    development practices.
  • Constantly communicating with the software
    developers in the New York office, ensuring
    that all programming code meets HBK’s
    quality standards and is properly reviewed,
    documented, and accessible for future use.
  • Maintaining and improving upon the
    technology standards and practices of the firm
    by conducting ongoing research and
    development projects.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact with
    technology managers in the firm’s Dallas
    headquarters.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of software design
    and development experience
  • Extensive C++ knowledge and experience
    operating in a Windows environment
  • Strong familiarity with object oriented
    programming
  • Exceptional academic background,
    advanced degree a plus
