I am a UK based securities processing consultant and am a member of the EMX Technical Steering Committee.
EMX is an organization set up by the Mutual Funds in the UK to trade electronically. It has received statements of intent from 79 financial institutions and is due to come online on 12th June 2000. EMX is using FIX protocol messages albeit with some custom fields. We in the UK seem to be short of suppliers of FIX engines and I would be interested to hear from any US based supplier who might wish to consider supplying a FIX engine to the UK.

I realise I might be a bit late in responding to this - but then again you might already have received information from Sybase about our Financial Server with FIX adapter. I would be interested to know if you have had any responses and if you would like to know more about our solution (scaleable, relaible, proven).
