I should make a specificatios for our coders for the FIX (outbound) engine. At the moment we have basicly used only a couple of different counterparties. And the order routing has been based on the market only.
Later on we might would like to route the orders to several counterparties on the same market based on the various criteria, how should the filtering be built?
Are there any good websites that could help me in this matter or do you have any suggestions how should we do it? How do you do it yourselves or what possibilities off shelf products offer? What should I take into account in filtering?
I have been thinking that we should be able to choose where we will send our orders by:
- market
- customer
- order type
- order size
- percentage distribution
Does this make sense? Or is there something else I should be thinking of?
