Major Financial Services company is seeking a Senior Architect/Developer to participate in designing and building their next generation Trading System. Candidates must have played a major technical role influencing development of significant pieces of software. Candidates must also have:
•Extensive experience building large scale OO software in C++ on UNIX
•Deep understanding of large-scale software architecture and development process
•Firm understanding of OOA/OOD techniques and modern design patterns
•Extensive current coding experience in C++
•Experience architecting Trading Systems
•Accurately articulate a detailed technical vision
•Be able to estimate, plan, and execute on technical infrastructure projects
•Current with trends and literature in the field
•Mentor staff
FIX a plus
A graduate degree in CS/EE or a related field is desirable. Company offers competitive compensation.
