Major financial services firm is seeking an experienced Senior Software
Developer to work on real-time market data feeds. You are expected to take charge of projects from inception to completion and work independently. Effective communication skills are also very important for this position since frequent interaction with other groups and team members is necessary. You will also be expected to talk to exchanges at a technical levels should the need arise.
REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate must have 4+ years experience in multithreaded
programming in C/Unix and 2+ years experience in C++ and designing
object-oriented systems. Experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP, XML, real-time systems and financial data feeds such as Tibco and SSL is a plus.
