I am in need of a senior IT person with a strong understanding of Asset Backed Securites / Mortgage Backed Securities - Secondary, Primary Securitization and Whole Loan businesses.
The person should have a strong understand of front to back systems and how they integrate with pricing, risk mgmt, p&l explain and accounting. A minimum of 5 - 7 years in a trading and / or back office role within an IT capacity. Not necessarily a manager although someone with management experience will be OK - but the person will not initially manage anyone.
Strong technical skills with regards to how systems will support this business, how they will integrate, workflow of data, repositories, etc.
They are not necessarily looking for a technical developer, although if the person has development skills this would be a plus. Since it is a plus I will not restrict it to any development languages. A fair understand of DB models would be necessary.
