Major NYC Investment bank seeks a Sr. QA professsional with Equity Trading Systems experience.
This is a brand new role under the Electronic Trading Umbrella
Keys to this role:
MUST have experience in a trading environment
Any program trading, Order Management Systems experience
Will be creating test plans and test cases to test a brand new trading application they’re building.
Tech skills:
Unix…not Shell Scripting, just checking files
SQL…simple queries
Bug tracking using test Director
Will have a lot of interaction with the developers (C++,Java, Unix environment)
Write test plans and test cases

Test new Equity Order Management system

Perform functional, regression and stress testing for new software releases

Work closely with developers on software releases

Report and track all bugs for software releases in Test Director
Experience:
-
5+ years software testing experience in the financial industry
-
BS in either computer science/business/ finance
-
Experience working with stock market exchanges/ECN
-
Experience with Program Trading/Order Management
-
Experience with OATS, OTS and ACT
