Client: Major financial firm
Salary 120K to 150K
Plans, organizes and controls all activities associated with the development and implementation of technical projects supporting **** Global Internet presence.
Principal Accountabilities:

Identify and engage all key stakeholders, contributors and business and technical resources that must participate in a projects and ensure that contributors are motivated to complete assigned tasks within the parameters of the project plan. -
Manage the full life cycle of assigned projects to ensure comprehensive, timely and high quality outcomes of assigned projects. -
Establish strong cross-functional working relationships and build a network of support with outside groups. -
Create project plans using tools that facilitate task listing, assignments, tracking and modification to ensure objectives are completely satisfied, on time and within budget. -
Identify opportunities for enhancing or improving the management approach of products in the group portfolio. -
Produce executive reports on assigned project to keep management apprised of project status, major issues, scope changes, resource changes and milestone achievements or misses. -
Facilitate regular project meetings and follow up with team members as required to focus on business and operational issues or technical issues. Document, assign and monitor all projects issues to ensure clearance with minimal impact to project progress. -
Participate in the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of Technology Services project manager policies, procedures and best practices. -
Provide regular feedback to management of project team performance. -
Remain current on technical and professional developments affecting area of responsibility. -
Complete other related duties as assigned. Support the Company’s Diversity programs.
Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in business or technology or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of seven years proven and progressive project management experience or equivalent, including exposure to Internet project management and system implementation.
• Project management certification preferred.
• The ability to work with minimal supervision; the ability to make decisions regarding assigned projects independently when possible or appropriate escalate when required.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong (lateral and vertical) cognitive skills.
• Experience within the financial services industry a plus.
• Comfort level working with staff that includes the highest levels of management, and flourishes when confronted with unstructured, complex situations.
• Ability to lead groups and individuals on a project basis; ability to mediate team conflicts and opposed desires.
• Ability to influence staff beyond the boundaries of traditional institutional power.
