Technology Analyst
- Manage Equity trading systems in production and test environments.
- Work with offshore development team for new functionality and report system issues.
- Work with System Administrator and DBA groups to architecture and maintain production environments.
- Work with Network Infrastructure team to implement and manage exchange connectivity.
- Configure trading systems and supporting applications in production and test environments.
- Implement and manage installation process for production and test environments.
- Perform regression testing for new release. Document test cases, testing results and report issues to development.
Professional and Pers Quals
- Three to five years of experience in IT
- Knowledge of Equity trading systems and order flow
- In depth knowledge with FIX protocol
- In depth knowledge of Unix/Linux
- In depth knowledge of Shell and Perl programming
- Knowledge of SQL to generate ad hoc reports
- Familiar with C++, JAVA programming
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiar with Pub/Sub middleware products
