We are a 100% Windows NT group at a large brokerage house here in Manhattan. Currently we are looking to fill a couple of senior software engineering positions. We are a fun, tight sarcastic bunch to work with.
We do a lot of cool development under NT. Our back end is Windows NT Services/C++ and SQL Server 2000 and our front ends are MFC/Stingray/C++. The glue is Tibco and MQ Series. FIX knowledge is a plus.
We all love and use products like Visual Studio 2003, StingRay, Tibco, Compuware etc. We are also headed into the world of .NET using C# for services and front ends.
We are looking for engineers who love to code! Specifically we give high marks to great communicators, great C++ thinkers who are also great hands on practical coders. If you enjoy detailed conversations ranging from communication protocols, to advanced Win32 API trivia, to advanced debugging of release mode executables, to optimization … we might just be the group for you!
If you know what a "Windows Hook" is, or can discuss partial template specialization and small object allocators … you definitely want to talk to us!
