Our client is looking for a Support Analyst that has experience working in a trading environment with the following skillset: Rational ClearCase & ClearQuest, UNIX and UNIX scripting (Perl, shell, awk, sed etc., Tomcat, Apache, Java/ANT programming and/or debugging, Sybase, Java integration, any experience with the whole loan market, other fixed income finance. • Coordinate and solve application production problems by debugging software written in Java and deployed on Tomcat and Apache.
• Responsible for developing, operating and maintaining release management techniques to ensure releases are smooth, error-free, and easily rolled-back.
• Proactively identify and resolve application & system problems.
• Maintain software change control.
• Promote the overall stability of the system through technical implementation of automated monitoring and logging tools.
• Develop a broad knowledge and understanding of support, Global IT operations, technology and business issues in order to identify specifications to improve the supportability of products.
• Successfully navigate programs and initiatives through a matrixed organization where many groups are included in the solution delivery.
• Create and maintain applications documentation for training, cross-training, troubleshooting.
