*Job Description:
– Maintain MORCOM application availability to
business users globally.
– Work closely with other application teams and
business groups to resolve production
problems.
– Execute regularly scheduled analysis and
handle ad hoc requests from the user community.

– Participate in on-going performance monitoring
/ improvements around the production /
development environment.
– Work closely with the F&O Plan and Build
teams.
– Monitor production processes and provide
technical expertise to resolve problems.
– Manage the source and production technical
environments.
– Record/document information within our
knowledge database concerning various failures
and the measures taken to resolve them.
– Effectively communicate issues and status
updates with business users; sponsors and other
AD teams
– Maintain overnight batch processes through
participation in the overnight support

*Skills & Knowledge Required:
– Capable of managing the implementation of
solutions to complex problems independently
– Can work in a high pressure environment
– Excellent written and verbal communication
skills
– Capable of delivering quality programs
according to project schedule
– Understanding of problem management
methodologies

*Essential Experience:
– 4 + years experience working in a Unix
environment
– Preferably banking/ large system
experiences
– Liasing with front office, middle office and
development teams

*Technical Competencies:
*Must have technical skills
– Extensive knowledge in Unix
– Intermediate skills in Sybase

*Nice to have technical skills
– Java / Servlets / Jsp / ejb
– Vignette
– Viador
– Jrun
– iplanet / Websphere
– ServletExec
