SWIFT PURCHASES CAMERONFIX ENGINE FOR TESTING SWIFTNET FIX SERVICE

NEW YORK, September 16, 2002 — Cameron Systems today announced SWIFT has purchased CameronFIX engine licenses as part of the final qualification of the SWIFTNet FIX Service.
SWIFT has used the CameronFIX engine during the past three months for pre-production testing; the sending and receiving of FIX messages to and from the SWIFTNet FIX Hub.
SWIFT’s selection of the CameronFIX engine to include in their acceptance testing is a result of the engine’s widespread use within the FIX market as well as it’s strong reputation for maturity, performance, and flexibility.
The SWIFTNet FIX Service enables firms connected to SWIFTNet to access multiple trading partners around the world through a single FIX session. The service eliminates the need for firms to maintain multiple network and application-level connections to trading partners, substantially reducing the cost and risk associated with electronic trade communications.
Cameron Systems also announced today that CameronFIX has been certified as ‘SWIFTNet Ready’ for the SWIFTNet FIX Service, making it one of the first FIX engines to receive the SWIFTNet Ready label.
