I cannot understand what "Ticker symbol" means.
Is it the Ric code, or the Exchange code or anything else?
Is there anybody who can help me?

Ticker symbol is the security ID used when the exchange reports a trade. For example: IBM.
In the US the price reporting mechanism is called a ticker because of the machine that was used to print out the trade reports was called a ticker. I think the name originated in the 1920s
