Brief description of project and technical environment
Support the LVTS order management system. Establish FIX connections. Assist in the implementation of an equity EMS (Execution Management System), and its subsequent support
Duties:
Support the LVTS order management system. Establish FIX connections. Assist in the implementation of an equity EMS (Execution Management System), and its subsequent support.
Skills / Knowledge: The contingent worker requirements in order of importance are as follows:
SQL, programming language (VB, Java), FIX, reporting tool - 5 + years
Knowledge of international and domestic equity trading, trade processing, and portfolio management - 3+ years
20% travel, and on call after hours support
Skills / Knowledge: Skills that are not essential but would be preferred for this position:
Order Management Systems - LVTS, CRTS, Minerva, Bloomberg POMS, or like/in-house developed systems
Location: NYC
Duration: 6 months
