I am a confident, analytical and responsive SYSTEMS ARCHITECT & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER with a proven record of success. I have expertise in Information Technology Management, Product Management & Development, R&D Management, Project Management and Pre-Sales Support, in the Financial Industry and Middleware solutions, specializing in FIX and SWIFT.

For more than 16 years, I have been designing and managing the development of software systems. I have done this in the areas of financial integration and middleware solutions, geographical monitoring & control systems, and real-time communication protocols.

As the Director of Systems Engineering of a leading financial middleware company, I have worked with major financial institutions, such as: UBS, Deutsche Banc, Federal Reserve Bank of NY, and others, and gained first-hand experience with straight-through-processing issues, SWIFT/ISITC, FIX, trade life-cycle, GSTP, and T+1.

Among my accomplishments, I have:

  • Designed and managed the development of the company’s FIX Engine product. Result: sold FIX and BRASS connectivity to major customers (such as Knight Securities, USBanCorp, etc.); FIX Engine became strategic part of STN.

  • Built and managed the R&D team of North America, making the North America Operations become self-sufficient, and increased U.S. headcount from 5 to 20.

  • Globally managed integration projects for key clients, such as: Morgan Stanley, Federal Reserve Bank of NY, World Bank, with full customer satisfaction. Result: generated more than $5M in sales and repeat sales; happy reference-able customers.

  • Managed the development of small to large-scale distributed systems, both from vendor and customer sides.
