Susquehanna International Group, LLP (SIG) a sophisticated and influential trading firm, active on most of the world’s major securities and derivatives exchanges is seeking a Tactical Developer to join its New York office. SIG’s engineers work directly with traders, operations experts and quantitative analysts to design proprietary applications used by SIG traders globally.The Tactical Developer will participate in the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through to implementation, rollout and support. Additional responsibilities will include providing first line support for all trade based applications, helping users with reports and ad hoc requests as well as application training as needed and testing responsibilities which include identifying and resolving problems on production systems.
Key Qualifications: At least three years of software and application development and support experience; Hands-on experience with Microsoft Visual Basic, .NET, Oracle, Active Server Pages, Access, and Excel required. Hands-on experience with C++ a plus; Thorough understanding of relational database concepts.
