In a new order message with Tag#21 = 2, what is the scope of ‘broker intervention’? Can the broker only manually acknowledge the order and forward the order to exchange for execution or can the broker manually work upon the order?

Hi Priyank,

Generally, the use of 21=2 is an indication that the broker can decide when the order should be released to the market - what is referred to “light DMA / light touch” in India.

Allowing the broker to manually work upon the order (splitting the order in Odin Manager for example) is something that you would do for an order with 21=3.
