Does anyone know the difference between the MIC codes XNAS (Nasdaq) and XNMX (Nasdaq/NMS)?

A document from 2006 is refrences XNAS for Nasdaq Exchange Executions and XADF as a pending identifier for OTC Executions.

Any guidance is appreciated.

Please refer to http://www.iso15022.org/MIC/homepageMIC.htm. I believe it is XNAS and XNMS (not XNMX). It shows XADF as FINRA ALTERNATIVE DISPLAY FACILITY from www.finra.org.
