I am creating Mass Quote messages using a Fix4.2 library. after generating the message object, the resulting Fix message string is what follows. I have added new lines and tabs to make it easier to understand. My question is this: Is this message a valid Mass Quote message. My counter party says that tag 301, which is not part of any repeating group and therefore not subject to any tag order restrictions, should be before tag 296. What do you all think? Apparently, It crashes their fix engine. I would like to find the spec that proves them or me wrong.
