Manage a team that develops applications which allow external customers to execute, monitor and report on equity, futures and options orders. The candidate will supervise 5 6 developers and work with traders, vendors, and back-office personnel. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, responding to client issues, keeping management informed. As well as being a technical leader/expert.
Qualifications
Strong hands-on programming skills
Expertise in C++
Expertise in Unix, shell scripting
Experience with real-time systems, ECN
Experience with multi-threaded transactional processes
UNIX/C++, FIX Protocol, Multi-threading, Shell Scripting
Experience with CORBA a plus
Experience with NT
Experience in the financial industry: equities, futures and options
