Required Strong hands on experience as well as architecting experience in the following:
Visual C++
MFC Gui development
Real time messaging, sockets and EMS
UNIX Shell Scripting
Strong knowledge of databases, preferably Sybase. T-SQL, performance tuning and data modeling.
Solid understanding of architectural best practices, OOD and design patterns.
Must have previous experience interfacing with Traders.
Must have at least 4 years of experience developing systems supporting Fixed Income trading department. MBS experience a big plus.
Desired Skills:
C# development experience
Oracle development experience
This person will lead a group of trading system developers working on front end development of the trading system of MBS products.
Will be working with group and departmental architects to ensure that fuutre strategic components meet MBS requirements and can be integrated into the environment.
Work hands-on with a team of dev’rs to design solutions, define and assign tasks, supervise delivery and take responsibility for project deadlines.
