I am seeking a candidate with a financial
background in trading or equities for a helpdesk position within a
financial trading firm in NYC. This person should have a solid financial background as you need to know the lingo in order to talk to the traders with whom you will be dealing with on a regualar basis. You need to be a quick learner, and have a positive personality with a willingness to learn and grow. This postion will start off as a Customer Support role to the traders and then will grow into a internal software development role once they teach you the ropes. The learning curve is about 3-6 months depending on your experience. They are looking for candidates with NO MORE than 4 years exp. Salary 40-60k doe…Position is in NYC and will require US citizenship. In addition, they are strongly seeking local candidates.
4 YEAR COLLEGE DEGREE REQUIRED-Degrees from Technical schools do not count.
Must be a US citizen or greencard holder with EXCELLENT COMM SKILLS!
Unix- If you have any developing expereince this is a MAJOR PLUS!
C, Fix, and Java- If you have any exp. with these it is a plus BUT not mandatory!
