I am trying to decode temlpate 90 and my decoder expects more pmap entries than available.
It expects to have 8 pmap entries:
the first one is MDUpdateAction (pmap = 0) and the last one is TradingSessionID (mmap = 7) , but I have only 1 byte in the stream.
I guess the my pmap numbering is wrong ?

trailing zero bytes are stripped from the PMAP. If you need bit #8 and you only have 7 bits, then the PMAP value is zero.

The PMAP bytes is optimized so that trailing zeros are trimmed.

Logically a presence map has an infinite suffix of zeroes. This makes it possible to truncate a presence map that ends in a sequence where the bits are all zero. The length of the remaining part must be a multiple of seven.
