Tickers with spaces

ECNs, matching systems and/or data providers such as Bloomberg each have their own way of identifying preferred securities or various classes of common stock (class A/B) by inserting symbols such as period or slashes in between the ticker.
Is there a "standard" way to send orders for these securitires without having to create a table? If yes, how? Thanks.

You should be able to use tag 55 = Symbol and send a symbol suffix in tag 65, if you are not using the ID Source (tag 22) and securityID (tag 48).
