Equity Order Management & Execution Backend Developer - Tokyo
Global investment bank in Tokyo is looking to fill in the position of an Order Management and Execution backend Developer. The successful candidate will play a key role in a team of high caliber developers and support specialists working in Tokyo and Hong Kong. The primary focus is on systems covering Order Management & Execution. For this position in the order management area, the successful candidate will participate in the development of order management and trading applications for the Equity business. The system consists of unix/ C++/ Java/ Perl backend services, and .Net/C# front end applications. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on all parts of the system. Other tasks involve the following:

Gather and analyze business requirements for order management and execution system

Design and develop technical solutions to solve order/trading related business needs
-
Discuss and collaborate development efforts with global counterparts
-
Collaborate with IT/integration teams for system integration testing, UAT, and production turnover
-
Provide level two system support
-
Provide cross training to level one system support group
Technical Skill Requirements are :
-
Proficient skills in UNIX/.Net, C++/C#, Sybase/SQL, Perl, XML, SOAP, TCP/IP, Java
-
Hands-on development experience in client/server architecture, preferably in the equity trading system area
-
Strong analytical skill with track record of problem solving and delivery
-
Capable of effectively handling outage situations under stressful environment
-
Good knowledge of the FIX protocol is a plus
-Experience/knowledge of the securities and brokerage sector, with focus on front-end equity trading business
- Proficient in English language. Japanese language skill is also preferable
